Girls as unstoppable forces of change - The investment case for girls' health and wellbeing care in sub-Saharan Africa

Session Information

Sub-Saharan Africa is home to 120 million girls, many facing a "Triple Threat" of unintended pregnancy, HIV, and sexual violence-barriers that limit their health, safety, and future opportunities. Evidence shows that investing in girls is not only a moral imperative but also one of the smartest economic choices, with the potential to unlock trillions in returns. Yet, funding and programming must do more to centre girls' needs when they need support the most. This event, organized by Tiko, will feature SRHR leaders, funders, and experts sharing experiences and compelling cases for girl-centric support. Join us to hear how investing in the health and wellbeing of girls is a strategic choice for the future and to envision a world where girls across sub-Saharan Africa are supported and protected to become unstoppable forces of change.
